Today, we are experiencing justified pride in putting into operation an important investment that will add value to the Turkish chemical sector and the national economy, and will be a milestone for our BETA Kimya family. We laid the foundation of our new production facility with great courage under the challenging conditions of the Covid-19 Pandemic, both economically and humanely. Fortunately, with material and moral sacrifices, we have provided our country's industry and chemical sector with another modern production facility. Our new production hub, the BETA KİMYA GEBKİM KAMPÜSÜ, which we are proud of with 100% domestic and equity ownership and an investment value of approximately TRY 1.7 billion, will be the largest adhesive and sealant production facility in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. It will increase our production capacity five-fold, and with our annual production capacity of 150,000 tons, we will take a step further into 5 new product groups of high added value, pioneering new next-generation products for many sectors of strategic importance, from automotive to packaging, from aviation to defence industry. We will experience the pride of producing for the first time in Turkey, in addition to PUR Hotmelt adhesives that our country has long been importing from abroad, silane-terminated polyurethane adhesives and filling products. I would like to express my thanks to our Ministry of Industry and Technology in particular, as well as our relevant Ministries and public institutions for their valuable support. I wish our BETA KİMYA GEBKİM KAMPÜSÜ to be auspicious for our country, our company, our chemical sector and our industry." he said.Advertisement
