Continental Winter and All-Season Tyres Score Highest in Independent Press Tests

International automobile clubs and automotive trade magazines have once again confirmed that Continental winter and all-season tires are a good and safe choice. In the European press tests published this year, the Continental product portfolio received a total of 15 first-place rankings. In addition to these wins, Continental winter and all-season tires also achieved good rankings in ten more tests this year.
Continental tires ranked first in 15 tests, with the AllSeasonContact 2 model winning 7 different tests. More than two-thirds of consumers in Europe regard independent tire test results as the most important purchasing criterion.
International automobile clubs and automotive trade magazines have once again confirmed that Continental winter and all-season tires are a good and safe choice. In European press tests published this year, Continental's product portfolio achieved a total of 15 first-place finishes. In addition to these victories, Continental winter and all-season tires scored higher ratings in ten additional tests this year.
In winter tire tests conducted by German automobile club ADAC, German Auto Bild magazine, and British trade magazine Auto Express, the WinterContact TS 870 series, developed by Continental particularly for small and mid-size vehicles, performed successfully. The WinterContact TS 870 P model, aimed at more powerful vehicles, won the winter tire test organized by Poland's Motor Magazine.
Continental's newest all-season tire, AllSeasonContact 2, made an impact on this year's all-season tire tests. This "versatile" tire was declared the winner by test organization GTÜ and, together with Austria's ARBÖ, by German ACE, which tests both in winter and summer conditions, with a "definitely recommended" rating. The same tire also demonstrated the best performance in tests conducted by German Auto Zeitung, sportauto, and British online publication TyreReviews.
Independent tire test results remain the most important purchasing criterion
Independent tire tests conducted by automobile clubs and magazines serve as an important guide for drivers. According to a 2023 study by Continental, more than two-thirds of European consumers believe that independent tire test results are very important in tire selection. Tire tests, which typically cover more than 10 criteria, demonstrate the winter, wet, and dry road performance of tested products, often along with rolling resistance and road/tire noise. In this way, it provides consumers with information from many more perspectives compared to the EU tire label.
