Introducing the Dymax BlueWave® MX-MIM Machine Interface Module
Dymax Corporation, a manufacturer of fast-curing materials and equipment, has introduced the BlueWave® MX-MIM Machine Interface Module, the latest version in its light-curing systems series.
Designed specifically for machinery automation manufacturers, the BlueWave MX-MIM integrates seamlessly into automated light-curing systems. The machine interface module uses PROFINET and EtherNet/IP network protocols to substantially reduce I/O channels, freeing up analog control cards compared to traditional analog and digital relay-logic PLC control systems.
The unit enables machine manufacturers to power four Dymax MX series emitters simultaneously. Each emitter can be controlled independently or in any combination to generate flood and light-bar patterns.
The BlueWave MX-MIM offers users various advantages including advanced monitoring and diagnostics for systems, controllers and emitters, an integrated web browser, simplified wiring and I/O, and firmware-independent safety interlocks. This modular unit increases installation flexibility and reduces space requirements compared to traditional enclosure-style control devices.
Dymax Corporation develops innovative oligomers, adhesives, coatings, dispensing systems, and rapid light-curing systems for applications across a broad market range. The company's products are perfectly matched to work seamlessly together, providing design engineers with tools that significantly increase production efficiency and reduce costs. The markets served by the company include aerospace and defense, medical devices, consumer electronics and automotive electronics.
