60 Million Euro Investment from Mars Logistics

Mars Logistics has made a 60 million euro investment by purchasing 650 trailers, 250 tractor units and 90 rail cars. Mars Logistics, which provides road, rail, sea and air transport services as well as customs clearance, warehousing and insurance services, continues to expand the company with a 60 million euro investment. The company purchased a total of 650 trailers, 250 tractor units and 90 rail cars.

Making Investments Based on Customer Demands, Projects and Logistics Strategies

Gökşin Günhan, Member of the Board of Mars Logistics, made comments regarding the investment. Günhan stated: "With this investment, we are expanding our own fleet, which currently consists of 3,202 units, by purchasing 650 trailers, 250 tractor units and 90 rail cars" and explained the reason for making fleet investments as follows: "We carry out our investments according to our customers' demands, projects and logistics strategies. Growing together with our customers, facilitating business processes and designing the most efficient logistics processes for them are among our top priorities." Günhan, noting that they have also opened a warehouse in Paris, said: "In line with our company's growth strategies, we had established companies in Spain and France. In recent months, with the warehouse we opened in Paris, we have started offering our customers broader opportunities by increasing our service diversity in the region and developing our infrastructure." Günhan stated that they will continue to expand in Domestic Distribution Channel operations, where they provide many services such as partial transport, dealer stock management, distribution to dealers, warehousing and order preparation, and will continue opening transfer centers. Pointing out that the intermodal transport model is gaining increasing importance day by day both for being environmentally friendly and for its operational advantages, and is increasingly preferred by customers, Günhan noted that they will increase the number of weekly train services between Trieste-Halkalı-Europe to 42.

"A Large Part of Our Business Volume is Formed by the Automotive and Textile Sectors"

Günhan stated that Mars Logistics expects to close this year with a consolidated turnover of 500 million euros, saying: "With over 2,000 employees and in 37 branches and warehouses domestically and abroad, we provide import, export, warehousing and domestic distribution services to all sectors, but a large part of our business volume is formed by the automotive and textile sectors. We serve close to 8,000 companies in total across all sectors, with approximately 500 companies in the automotive sector and 2,000 companies in the textile sector."
