New Appointment at Şölen: Ali Kara Appointed Audit Director

Şölen, a global player in the snacking sector, continues to strengthen its organizational transformation and management structure in line with its 2030 growth strategy. In this context, Ali Kara has been appointed to the position of Chief Audit Executive.

Şölen is taking significant steps toward creating a more agile, integrated and robust organizational structure on a global scale in line with its 2030 growth strategy. Within the scope of this vision, a new appointment has been made during the restructuring process. Ali Kara has been appointed Chief Audit Executive. With this appointment, Şölen aims to create synergy in strategic planning, transformation and audit processes to accelerate progress toward sustainable growth targets.

Ali Kara is a graduate of Middle East Technical University's Department of Political Science and Public Administration and completed the MBA program at Atılım University. Beginning his career as Senior Team Lead at PwC, Kara joined OYAK Group in 2007 and worked in internal audit until 2017. He subsequently established the audit unit at Renault MAIS and continued leading it until 2019. He then took the position of Chief Audit Executive at Evyap Holding in 2019 and led audit processes for five years. Most recently serving as Head of Internal Audit at Çolakoğlu Metalurji, Kara will be responsible for the comprehensive execution of audit processes at Şölen and strengthening the corporate governance structure.
