Abdi İbrahim appoints two senior executives to drive international market growth.
Abdi İbrahim has made two senior appointments within its International Markets team. Barış Güven has been appointed Regional Director for Middle East North Africa (MENA) and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, while Cemal Battal has taken the position of Regional Director for Balkans and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
With approximately 20 years of senior-level experience at numerous international companies and most recently serving as Acting General Manager for Abdi İbrahim's Algeria operations, Barış Güven has been appointed Regional Director for Middle East North Africa (MENA) and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Cemal Battal, who brings more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, has been appointed Regional Director for Balkans and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Barış Güven is a graduate of Istanbul University's Department of Business Administration and completed his master's degree in the same field at London Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. Güven began his career at Bayer as a Sales Representative and later served as Brand Manager at the same company. He has held senior management positions in marketing and sales divisions at international brands including Sanovel, Novartis, Reckitt Benckiser, and Sandoz, and most recently served as Acting General Manager for Abdi İbrahim's Algeria operations. Cemal Battal is a graduate of Yıldız Technical University's Department of Statistics and completed his master's degree in business administration at Marmara University. Battal began his career in 1996 at Philip Morris and entered the healthcare sector in 2002 as a Business Intelligence Analyst at MSD. He has held senior management positions in strategic planning, sales, marketing, and business development at leading companies including Johnson & Johnson and Teva, and most recently served as Chief Executive Officer at Wiserlife.Advertisement
