Since we generally share our homes with our families, it is beneficial to use headphones to ensure that sounds do not disrupt our concentration and that the music we listen to does not disturb them. However, for virtual teleconferences and meetings, for what we want to transmit to be cleaner and more understandable, our environment should have good acoustic properties. For this, to eliminate the ringing created by glass and metal in the space, we should use wood and fabric-covered furniture and curtains. Carpet is also a good material for acoustic solutions, but on the other hand, it is not suitable for home hygiene. We now know how much working in front of a laptop for long hours negatively affects our skeletal health. This is why offices have begun using desks with adjustable heights. These are used in offices either by sitting with a chair at desk height or by raising them for standing use, which allows different skeletons in the body to be in different positions throughout the day, thus ensuring health. We can also use desks with this design feature at home. We can add one more function to this at home; by lowering it further when needed, we can also use it as a side table. This way, in our home-office environment shaped with a desk, office chair and a small but comfortable single armchair, we can work without getting bored and while also paying attention to our skeletal health.
