Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Appoints Senior Executive

Burcu Sarıbaş has taken up her position as Clinical Research Country Director at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Turkey.
Burcu Sarıbaş graduated with distinction from Hacettepe University Faculty of Pharmacy and began her career in 2002 as a clinical research specialist at Pfizer. Sarıbaş subsequently held the positions of Clinical Research Manager and Drug Safety Manager at Abbott, Clinical Compliance Manager at AstraZeneca, Country Clinical Quality Lead at Pfizer, Local Project Manager at Johnson & Johnson, and Head of Site Initiation at Quintiles Istanbul. Most recently, over a period of 8.5 years, Sarıbaş served as Director, Country Manager, and Clinical Research Group Director at PPD and Thermo Fisher Scientific respectively, gaining extensive experience in clinical operations, pharmacovigilance, medical information, clinical quality, and medical affairs.
Sarıbaş will continue her successful 22-year career journey as Clinical Research Country Director at global biotechnology company Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Turkey, which has been a leader in the rare disease field for 30 years.
