Two Key Sales Leadership Appointments at ETİ

ETİ has made two significant appointments in sales leadership as part of its strategy to strengthen its global organization. Mertol Kurtoğlu has been appointed as ETİ Global Executive Board Member and Head of Sales for Europe, MEA and CIS; Evrim Öztürk has become ETİ Global Executive Board Member and Head of Sales for Turkey. Both executives took up their new positions as of February 2026.

Mertol Kurtoğlu to lead global sales
Mertol Kurtoğlu, a graduate of Uludağ University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of International Relations, began his career at ETİ as a Sales Manager. Kurtoğlu held various positions in discount stores, supermarkets and cash&carry channels; he gained experience in Key Account Manager and National Account Manager roles.

In 2008, Kurtoğlu led the Local Chain Channel restructuring, subsequently taking on various sales development and channel management roles. From 2017 to 2023, Kurtoğlu worked as Sales Group Director, and from May 2023 onwards served as Head of ETİ Turkey Sales Group and Executive Board Member.

Evrim Öztürk takes helm of Turkey sales
Evrim Öztürk, a graduate of Middle East Technical University Department of Industrial Engineering, began his career at Danone Tikveşli as a Field Sales Manager. Joining ETİ in 2008, Öztürk took on various roles in commercial marketing and sales development.

As Sales Development Director and Commercial Marketing Director, Öztürk led strategic projects, most recently serving as Head of Emerging Markets Group from May 2023 to February 2026.

In his new role, Öztürk will be responsible for managing ETİ Turkey sales operations.
