Axalta Introduces New Fast-Drying Aerosol Topcoats for Industrial Market

Axalta Coating Systems introduced aerosol polyurethane and acrylic topcoat application to its coating solutions portfolio for industrial, agricultural and construction equipment markets. The aerosol topcoats, which offer formulations ranging from high-performance to economical options, provide a versatile, ready-to-use spray application for rapid processing and spot repair on damaged surfaces. Designed as fast-drying spray applications, Axalta's three new aerosol topcoats are produced in solid, metallic and special color tones that provide excellent finishes and superior corrosion protection to damaged machinery and equipment. Surfaces damaged by cracks, scratches or other minor scuffs can be restored to original quality when Axalta's aerosol topcoats are applied, and achieve a glossy appearance. Tufcote™ TCP-1600 polyurethane topcoat provides good appearance with lead and chromium-free color options, while Imron® EX-1700 enables paint professionals to perform superior appearance repairs. Axalta IE-1500 is an acrylic topcoat that is an economical choice for rapid spot repairs. The hermetic sealing structure of aerosol tin cans prevents contamination, helping to improve overall topcoat performance and corrosion resistance.
