BCCT is forming a partnership with openbusinesscouncil, a global digital guide to provide digital carbon neutral assessment and verification trade corridors. This collaboration opens the door to numerous transformation opportunities where businesses can capture the latest technological innovations and expand their international relationships, trade and market presence on a trusted platform. BCCT - British Chamber of Commerce in Turkey is partnering with openbusinesscouncil.org, a ztudium-supported digital platform, marketplace and guide, to offer members and organizations global digital verification, carbon neutrality assessment and trade corridor opportunities. The first joint project under this collaboration is ActionTurkiye.org, a non-profit digital sharing platform. BCCT - British Chamber of Commerce in Turkey and Openbusinesscouncil announced their partnership with the vision of bringing together the expertise and resources of both organizations and offering companies new opportunities for the global market. This platform will open the door to digital transformation opportunities that could help businesses of all sizes operating in Turkey and worldwide manage emerging technologies. Through this collaboration, member companies gain corporate credibility on an international trade platform while being encouraged to comply with global trade standards such as sustainability and carbon footprint. The digital trade corridor spanning many countries worldwide provides the company with credibility and visibility, while optimizing the company's website for search engines for the global market. Members are offered exclusive marketplaces, training and communication networks. SMEs and micro-SMEs can benefit from opportunities such as digital infrastructure including global digital verification support with AI and Blockchain, enabling entry into new markets. For companies to be placed on this membership-based digital platform, they must be members of Chambers of Commerce based on meeting corporate criteria. The first joint project of this collaboration is the "ActionTurkiye.org" digital sharing platform. This non-profit digital platform aims to raise awareness and increase access to resources and expertise adapted to the needs of the region, and contribute to post-earthquake reconstruction efforts. The "ActionTurkiye.org" digital sharing platform provides access to a network of international organizations, including NGOs serving the region with the same purpose as well as those specializing in disaster relief and rescue efforts.
BCCT President Chris Gaunt OBE made the following comments regarding the partnership:
"Working alongside the United Kingdom government, we are building a high-value B2B network in Turkey by establishing partnerships with our comprehensive business network and local chambers of commerce in Turkey's most dynamic cities. We coordinate a business network covering more than 800,000 enterprises in terms of capacity. This partnership provides Turkey and the United Kingdom with an opportunity to leverage our shared history and collaborate on leadership, business intelligence and commercial and economic goals. This synergy will strengthen both countries' positions on the global stage and enable them to establish long-term relationships with other international players." Dinis Guarda, Founding President of openbusinesscouncil.org and parent group ztudium, said the following regarding the partnership:
"In recent years, with the increasing innovation and trends of the 4IR, businesses, particularly SMEs, face new challenges in buying and selling and trade. This partnership is a promise to provide businesses and their leaders with digital verification and carbon neutrality assessment solutions using AI and Blockchain. These solutions will help provide digital trade corridors to the diverse sectors currently represented by BCCT, including not only large multinational companies but also a significant number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Turkey, the United Kingdom and surrounding regions. For businesses, it is an opening to numerous digital transformation opportunities that could help them manage and cope with the pitfalls of technologies emerging in the modern age."
