BREN receives investment from Tarvenn at a valuation of TRY 2.4 million

Working within İTÜ Çekirdek, BREN is able to generate electricity from waste energy in many different fields through a hybrid nanogenerator that can convert temperature differences, vibration and motion into electrical energy.

Energy Savings with BREN Renewable Energy

With its corporate solution, BREN uses the waste heat of industrial equipment to convert temperature differences between surfaces into electrical energy. This enables factories and industrial manufacturers to save energy at their facilities and reduce electricity bills. In the individual sector, the smart bracelet solution that generates energy from body temperature and natural movement eliminates the need to carry a charging device or power bank. BREN İleri Teknoloji Enerji A.Ş. Founder Çınar Laloğlu, noting that they provide instant maximum energy generation, storage and wireless transfer capabilities with their developed energy-generating smart bracelet, states that they have designed a product that is lightweight and practical while also having smart features in addition to charging the device of your choice.

Referring to identifying potential energy sources and increasing energy harvesting in systems containing motion and vibration, Çınar Laloğlu notes that the hybrid nanogenerators they have developed are longer-lasting, quiet and reliable. Laloğlu states: "In Turkey, we spend TRY 300 million annually just to charge smart devices. We aim to expand the use of this technology we developed to meet low-power energy needs in Turkey's industrial market. We provide solutions for many sectors such as aviation, defense and space technologies, automotive, textiles, biomedical devices and IoT-compatible data tracking and transfer systems. By preventing energy losses at facilities, we can reduce electricity consumption. We want to solve the charging and battery problem by collaborating with device manufacturers in different fields that have low energy requirements. With the investment we received from Tarvenn, we aim to strengthen ourselves financially and institutionally, gain market share in Turkey's renewable energy sector and expand internationally in the near future.
