Clariant Ranked Among Chemical Sector's Best in 2018 Dow Jones Sustainability Index
Clariant, by being included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) in 2018, has proven for the sixth consecutive year that it is among the world's most sustainable chemical companies. The company thus demonstrated its commitment to sustainability once again.
RobecoSAM analysts confirmed that Clariant ranked first in the Material Issues, Environmental Reporting, Water Risks and Human Capital Development categories, thereby achieving best-in-class status across all dimensions of the assessment.
Clariant was listed among the top companies in the chemical sector on both the DJSI Europe and DJSI World lists. Clariant CEO Hariolf Kottmann commented on the matter as follows: "Our sixth consecutive inclusion in the DJSI means that Clariant has maintained its commitment to sustainability.
