Turkey's First Specialized Chemical Industrial Zone Backs Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Sector Event

The 10th Private Label Summit, which brought together top-level representatives of producers, suppliers and retail chains in Turkey's fast-moving consumer goods sector, was held with strong attendance at Crowne Plaza Asia in Istanbul Pendik. The summit, which ranks among the most influential organizations in the private label sector, received support from GEBKİM OSB, Turkey's first specialized chemical industrial zone, as Gold Sponsor.

At the summit, which stood out as one of the most comprehensive gatherings in the private label sector, production trends, changing consumer expectations, sustainability, supply chain management and new directions in the global private label market were covered comprehensively. Current data and forecasts shared by expert speakers revealed that the sector is in a strong preparation phase heading into 2026.

Among the notable surprises of the summit was a performance titled "CMXXIV" by renowned comedian Cem Yılmaz. The performance, which garnered significant interest from participants, added color to the event and strengthened the social dimension of the summit.

One of the highlights of this year's summit was strong representation from the chemical sector. Many important representatives from the chemical field, which forms the foundation of private label products such as cleaning, cosmetics, packaging and industrial raw materials, came together with industry professionals.

M. İmer Özer, Chairman of the PLAT Association Board, speaking at the opening session of the summit, drew attention to the transformation the private label sector has undergone in the last 10 years, stating: "Private label is no longer merely an alternative choice; it has become a powerful category that shapes consumer behavior."
