Life Sciences Ingredients Fair, held at Istanbul Exhibition Centre, brought together 3 different concept fairs under one roof this year.
The fair has become the sought-after meeting point for the Raw Materials and Components sectors of Pharmaceuticals, Food, Nutrition, Cosmetics and Home Care Products, further solidifying its position as the only fair in this concept.
The 3rd International Cosmetics, Personal Care, Detergent and Home Care Components, Raw Materials and Technologies Fair "Cosmetics & Home Care Ingredients 2017", the 2nd Pharmaceutical Components, Raw Materials and Technologies Fair "Pharmaist 2017" and the 2nd Food and Nutritional Components, Chemicals and Technologies Fair "Food & Nutritional Ingredients 2017" serve as a unique platform to meet the chemical, raw material, component and technology-related purchasing needs of the sectors.
Life Sciences Ingredients 2017 Fair hosted 90 direct exhibitors, including 26 foreign participants from 10 different countries, and a total of 335 companies and company representatives.
Over 3 days, the fair was visited by a total of 3,221 sector professionals, including 427 foreign visitors from 49 different countries. The top 10 countries with the highest number of foreign visitors to the fair were Iran, Saudi Arabia, Albania, Iraq, Russia, France, Italy, Kosovo, Tunisia and Ukraine, respectively.
Life Sciences Ingredients impressed with a packed "Event Programme"!
The "Innovation Corner" where participating companies displayed their latest innovative products, "Product Formulation" where prototype samples were produced in a laboratory environment set up in the fair area, workshops conducted by perfumers "Fragrance Workshop" and the "Workshop" area where sector professionals conducted a total of 25 commercial and scientific presentations over 3 days offered unique opportunities for both exhibitors and visitors. Additionally, another highly-attended event was the book signing by renowned perfumer Vedat Ozan, author of the Fragrances Book Series.Workshop Programme
As part of the Workshop/Presentation programme organized simultaneously with the Life Sciences Ingredients 2017 Fair for Raw Materials and Components of Pharmaceuticals, Food, Nutrition, Cosmetics and Home Care Products, a total of 25 presentations were conducted over 3 days by experts from both within the country and abroad. Through these presentations, fair visitors had the opportunity to learn about the newest products, formulations and technologies from participating companies and universities.Innovation Corner:
In 2017, undoubtedly one of the most important event areas of the Cosmetics & Home Care Ingredients Fair was the "Innovation Corner" where innovative products were displayed... 21 innovative products displayed by industry giants in the cosmetics and home care raw materials sector inspired manufacturers for their next product formulations.Fragrance Workshop:
The "Fragrance Workshop", one of the most special sections of the fair, received considerable interest throughout the event. Within the workshops organized under the Fragrance Workshop, companies conducted one-on-one fragrance testing sessions with a maximum of 12 participants. Additionally, the workshop conducted by renowned perfumer Vedat Ozan, author of the Fragrances Book Series, in the Fragrance Workshop area on the final day of the fair and the subsequent book signing received great attention from participants and visitors.Product Formulation:
In the "Product Formulation" area where raw material producers and suppliers demonstrated the applications of raw materials in their product ranges in practical terms, participating companies met visitors with 40 formulations.Lab Testing Zone:
Another special section of the fair area was the Lab & Testing Zone. Companies operating in laboratory equipment, instruments & technologies, cosmetic analysis and all other life sciences laboratory analysis, safety & assessment services in cosmetic products and all other training and consulting services participated as exhibitors.And Guest City Isparta...
The guest city of the Cosmetics & Home Care Ingredients Fair this year was Isparta. Under the auspices of the Isparta Governorship and coordinated by the Western Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA), in the "Isparta Guest City" area, companies producing rose oil, one of the most important and expensive raw materials in the perfume and cosmetics industry, and cosmetics manufacturers took their places.Advertisement
