Takeda Türkiye Wins 3 Awards at Peer Awards For Excellence 2018

Japanese pharmaceutical company Takeda continues to successfully carry out its operations in Turkey while earning recognition for its human resources policies. Beginning in early 2018, the company added awards from the Peer Awards, one of the UK's most prestigious HR award programs, held in London in July—namely "Most Effective Leader," "Technology," and "Company Special Award"—to the "Global Best Employer" award it received from the Best Employers Institute at the start of the year. In the leaders category, where areas such as success focus in human resources, work motivation, passion, determination, effective communication, and employee empowerment are evaluated, Tuba Ertek, Director of Human Resources & Administrative Affairs at Takeda Turkey, was deemed worthy of the award. In the award category evaluating the use of technology in important human resources areas such as recruitment, training & development, compensation, and talent management, and assessing how these areas are adapted to processes, the "TOPİ Online Compensation System," developed by Takeda Turkey, was the project that won the award. Takeda Turkey also won an award in the category where companies that advanced to the finals with 3 or more projects are honored, with the "TOPİ Online Compensation System."

This year, many institutions from Bulgaria, Dubai, India, Indonesia, Kosovo, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United States, most of them from the UK, submitted their applications to Peer Awards to become finalists.
