Covestro Extends Contract with Chief Financial Officer Dr. Thomas Toepfer

Covestro AG's Supervisory Board extended the contract of Board Member Dr. Thomas Toepfer for five years, from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2026. Dr. Toepfer has been a member of the Covestro AG Management Board since April.   Covestro AG Supervisory Board Chairman Dr. Richard Pott said, "We are pleased to continue our successful cooperation with Dr. Thomas Toepfer. As an experienced CFO, he rightly enjoys high confidence among the capital markets and employees, business partners, Management Board and Supervisory Board." Following the contract extension, Dr. Thomas Toepfer said, "Together with the Management Board team and our employees, I look forward to shaping Covestro's future in a successful and sustainable manner. At the same time, I would like to thank our Supervisory Board for the trust they have placed in me." Thomas Toepfer is part of Covestro's four-member Management Board alongside CEO Dr. Markus Steilemann, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Sucheta Govil and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Dr. Klaus Schäfer.
