GSK Türkiye announces new appointments
GSK Turkey announced new appointments to its leadership team. Merve Özerkaya, who previously worked as Regional Employee Relations Manager, will assume the position of Country Human Resources Leader as of 1 April 2024. Aslı Karagözoğlu Çelik, an experienced figure in the industry, was appointed to the position of GSK Turkey Country Ethics & Compliance Leader. Esra Mezrea, who has long worked as Ethics & Compliance Leader at GSK Turkey, was assigned to the London office with the title of Partner Markets Compliance Leader. In her new role, Mezrea will be responsible for more than 70 countries.
Merve Özerkaya, who studied Political Science at Istanbul University and later completed her master's degree in Human Resources Management at Marmara University, has worked in human resources for more than 15 years across various sectors.
Aslı Karagözoğlu Çelik, a graduate of Koç University Faculty of Law who completed her master's degree in law at Columbia University, began her new role as GSK Turkey Country Ethics & Compliance Leader as of 3 January 2024, bringing more than 15 years of experience in law and compliance and strong pharmaceutical industry experience.
