DYO continues to pursue an environmentally-conscious approach, expanding its green product portfolio to 21 products with 11 new additions and delivering sustainable solutions. Analyzing environmental impacts across all stages from raw materials to shipment, DYO contributes to the preservation of ecological balance through environment-aware manufacturing practices.

DYO has strengthened its commitment to sustainability through new steps, expanding the number of products holding Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification to 21 with 11 new products. These products undergo rigorous environmental impact analysis at every stage, from raw material extraction through supply, manufacturing and shipping. They are documented with lifecycle assessments compliant with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards. The products qualified for EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certification following evaluation of water consumption, water and carbon footprint and ecological impacts.

In this context, DYO certified a total of 11 products through EPD: Akrostar Silicone Exterior Facade Paint, Neostar Silicone Matte Interior Facade Paint, Oxymax Formaldehyde-Absorbing Interior Facade Paint, Teknoplast PTFE-Additive Silk Matte Interior Facade Paint, Dinamik Soft Matte Interior Facade Wall Paint, Dyopa Matte Interior Facade Paint, Teknotex PTFE-Additive Exterior Facade Paint, Dyoplast Plastic Interior Facade Paint, Dinamik Matte Silicone Wipeable Matte Interior Facade Wall Paint, Beşyıldız Silicone Silk Matte Interior Facade Paint and Akromax Suprema Pure Acrylic Exterior Facade Paint. EPD Gaining Importance in Green Building Standards
Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certificates are recognized as documents that present the environmental performance of a product or service through quantitative data in accordance with parameters defined under ISO 14040 standards and in compliance with ISO 14025 standard.
EPD certificates are gaining particular importance in international green building certification systems such as LEED, BREEAM and DGNB. Using products holding this certification in buildings enables measurement and documentation of environmental impacts such as carbon footprint per square meter, energy and water consumption.
