ISODER Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary

İZODER celebrates its 30th anniversary with a new vision approach. The Association, which was founded in 1993 to create proper insulation awareness throughout Turkey, has been working dedicatedly towards this goal for 30 years. With insulation awareness at the core of its future vision, İZODER aims to bring the sector to the level of developed countries by ensuring that quality insulation materials are applied correctly and in accordance with their intended purpose.

İZODER Heat, Water, Sound and Fire Insulation Manufacturers Association Board Chairman Emrullah Eruslu made the following statements on the matter;

"2023, marking both the 100th anniversary of our Republic and İZODER's 30th anniversary, holds great significance for us. Since the day we were established as the umbrella organization of the insulation sector, we have made intensive efforts to create insulation awareness throughout Turkey. We conduct our activities under different headings such as public awareness roadmaps, corporate social responsibility projects and education. In our future work, social benefit will always be at the forefront and we will focus on raising insulation awareness to the highest levels in our country." Emrullah Eruslu stated that they welcomed İZODER's 30th anniversary with a new vision determined by the new management and members. He said, "Following our General Assembly held in March, in a strategic management workshop we conducted with our members, we set the goal of bringing our sector to the level of developed countries by ensuring that quality insulation materials are applied correctly and in accordance with their intended purpose, during the period up to the association's 50th anniversary. The purpose of our association's existence is to ensure improved quality of life and comfort conditions through structures that are sensitive to human safety and environmental health by using natural resources efficiently with insulation for a sustainable future, and to leave a livable world to our future generations. We will continue our work with unwavering faith, desire and responsibility to achieve these goals." İZODER Chairman Emrullah Eruslu, stating that they started the year with great excitement and a busy schedule but that the 6 February earthquake disaster deeply affected both society and the sector, concluded his remarks as follows;

"In İZODER's 30th year, we would have liked to talk about positive developments, but after the 6 February earthquake disaster, our agenda, as for the entire country, has become the earthquake-affected region. Although our country has experienced major earthquakes before and suffered great losses, it became clear once again that sufficient lessons had not been learned regarding safe construction. In the reconstruction process to follow, it is crucial that all buildings are constructed in compliance with regulations, in a healthy, safe, peaceful, comfortable, energy-efficient and environmentally responsible manner. In new construction and urban transformation, our sector is important with all its production lines: heat insulation, water insulation, sound insulation and fire insulation. As İZODER, in the process ahead, we are focused on work to ensure that insulation applications are applied safely and correctly both in construction in the earthquake-affected region and in buildings to be constructed as part of urban transformation."
