AB Gıda Installs Solar Power Plant on Facility Roof

Solar panel manufacturer CW Enerji has completed the installation of a solar power plant on the roof of AB Gıda, a food company operating in Balıkesir.

According to a statement from the company, 1,600 solar panels were used on the roof of the facility where the solar power plant with a total capacity of 720 kilowatts (kWp) was installed. CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz, whose views were included in the statement, noted that companies continue to equip their rooftops with solar energy panels manufactured to high quality standards: "Solar energy is among the most important resources of the future and has significant potential wherever there is an electricity need. Solar energy is an infinite source that can be used for millions of years. As CW Enerji, we are contributing to a sustainable future by equipping factory rooftops with environmentally friendly solar power plants. Most recently, CW Enerji completed the installation of a solar power plant on the roof of AB Gıda, a food company operating in Balıkesir." he said. Pointing out that solar energy reduces dependence on foreign energy sources, Yılmaz stated, "It is possible to benefit from solar energy in every aspect of life. It can be used in homes, agriculture, industry and manufacturing. We will continue our efforts to see the inexhaustible energy source of the sun on more rooftops and to make a significant contribution to solving problems such as environmental pollution and global warming."
