Bayer Crop Science has entered into a significant partnership with 5 of Turkey's leading fruit producers through the digital residue management platform ResiYou, aimed at enhancing food safety in agriculture and supporting sustainable production processes. The producers generate a total annual fruit production of 545,000 tonnes and export to more than 50 countries.
ResiYou, which focuses on residue management, enables producers to digitally record the plant protection products they use in the field and thereby effectively manage pesticide residues in their products. Through the platform, it is easy to track what product was applied to which crop and when; this minimizes residue risk in products supplied to both domestic and export markets.
The simulation feature offered by ResiYou gives producers the ability to plan forward or backward based on harvest dates. This way, when each product can be safely used is predicted in advance and planning processes are conducted much more effectively.
ResiYou, which increases confidence and efficiency in the food chain from farm to table, offers an innovative digital agriculture solution that benefits not only producers but the entire supply chain.
