Industry Leaders to Meet at Sustainable Agriculture and Food Summit

The Bloomberg HT Sustainable Agriculture and Food Summit, scheduled for 12 June 2025, will bring together Turkey's Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı alongside sector experts and leading figures.

The summit will focus on food security and quality, financing sustainable agricultural practices, ecosystem transformation and collaboration. Public sector, private sector and civil society representatives will exchange views on developing sustainable agriculture policies. The summit will be organized by Yirmidört Communications.

At the Bloomberg HT Sustainable Agriculture and Food Summit, the sector's transformation along sustainability lines will be addressed. Panels on sustainable agriculture & food practices, food security and quality, local production and global supply chains will discuss future agricultural and food applications and financing models, and Turkey's potential in these areas will be debated. Turkey's Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı will participate with a special session titled "National Vision and Strategies in Agriculture and Food."

During the special session titled "Today and the Future of Agriculture" held as part of the summit, Bloomberg HT Agriculture and Food Editor İrfan Donat will evaluate global and regional agricultural dynamics in light of current data with FAO Deputy Director-General / Europe and Central Asia Regional Representative Viorel Gutu.

The statement aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of Turkey's position and potential in the agriculture & food sector, establish strategic objectives and provide sector guidance through a sustainable roadmap.
