Sütaş Wins Corporate Governance Award for the 7th Time

Sütaş has been recognized with Turkey Corporate Governance Association's Corporate Governance Award in the non-public real sector category for the seventh consecutive time. At the 14th Corporate Governance Summit organized this year by Turkey Corporate Governance Association (TKYD), the Corporate Governance Awards were presented to their recipients in a ceremony. The Corporate Governance Award in the real sector category went to Sütaş. With winning the award this year as well, Sütaş has been recognized with this award for the sixth consecutive time.

"We Considered Corporate Governance Principles as a Guide"

Duygu Yılmaz, Board Member of Sütaş, made remarks at the ceremony held at the Corporate Governance Summit. Yılmaz stated: "For a sustainable corporate structure, we treated corporate governance principles as a guide and identified it as one of our four main strategies on which we have built our mission."

Yılmaz continued: "Fortunately, universal corporate governance principles—namely fairness, transparency, accountability and responsibility—align with the core values we have adopted since our foundation. While our dairy value chain integration advances and we grow by expanding into new geographies, maintaining commitment to these values and viewing corporate governance principles as a compass guiding our decisions supports Sütaş's sustainable growth." Noting that independent rating agencies have been evaluating their compliance with corporate governance principles since 2015 despite having no legal obligation to do so, Yılmaz said: "We are greatly pleased to have received the award for the company with the highest score in the non-public company category at the Corporate Governance Awards for seven consecutive years."
