Flormar, a colored cosmetics company with over 70 years of expertise and a global presence in more than 80 countries, has launched a new era of innovation and sustainable growth following the award of an R&D Center Certificate by the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology for its production facility in Gebze. This significant development adds a major achievement to the brand's successful initiatives at national and international levels.
Flormar's Gebze Facility Now Official R&D Center
The Flormar production facility located in Kocaeli Gebze Organized Industrial Zone has gained official R&D Center status as of October 2025. This step strengthens Turkey's innovation capacity in the cosmetics industry by transferring the brand's expertise in formulation, production technologies and innovative content development to a more structured and systematic framework.
R&D Center Operates in Three Main Focus Areas
Flormar R&D Center conducts work in three core areas:

The center focuses on developing long-lasting, water-resistant, skin-friendly and high-performance products, while also pursuing innovative projects in areas such as microbiome-friendly components, biodegradable raw materials and smart pigment technologies.

At Flormar R&D Center, 64% of the team are women and 68% are engineers. This structure stands out as a concrete demonstration of the brand's vision of combining technical expertise with social inclusivity.
