STAR Refinery Ranks 3rd

STAR Refinery ranks third in ISO's "Turkey's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises 2021 Survey". STAR Refinery, a subsidiary of SOCAR Türkiye, ranked third on the "Turkey's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises 2021" list prepared by Istanbul Chamber of Industry. According to the survey results, the company rose three places with sales from production valued at TRY 55.2 billion. In the same survey, Petkim advanced eight positions with sales from production of TRY 19.5 billion, ranking 15th. SOCAR Türkiye Chief Executive Officer Zaur Gahramanov, noting that despite global supply chain disruptions and tightening financial conditions stemming from the pandemic, SOCAR Türkiye and group companies continued to achieve successful results in 2021, stated: "2021 was a year in which our Refinery and Petrochemistry Business Unit, including STAR Refinery and Petkim, achieved results exceeding our targets. While refinery capacity utilization rates declined globally, the company's capacity utilization rate exceeded 101 percent and made significant contributions to partially reducing the country's economic dependence on refinery products. The integrated operation of STAR Refinery and Petkim, enabling uninterrupted continuation of production, was instrumental in this success. The fact that our group companies rank in the upper positions on this important list featuring Turkey's largest enterprises is a matter of pride for us," he said.
