Delta Opens Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center

Delta, a global leader in power management and intelligent green solutions, has inaugurated its Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center in Taiwan, a strategic hub for equipment validation and capability training programmes to support customers implementing geographically distributed production and intelligent centralized management. 

In addition to applied training, the single-stop platform site encompasses production validation and trial operations. Delta is further strengthening its partnership with NVIDIA by jointly establishing the Delta & NVIDIA Cyber-Physical Integration Class to accelerate global adoption of digital twin and AI model applications. The center offers integrated cyber-physical training programmes for end users and system integrators ranging from individual machines to production lines to factory-scale system integration, and includes training resources for development on the NVIDIA Omniverse digital twin platform. Approximately one hundred representatives from industry, government and academia attended the opening ceremony, which marks a new transformation momentum for the electronics and semiconductor industries.

Located in Delta's own Zhongli Factory 6 in Taiwan, the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center covers approximately 500 m² and provides solutions ranging from individual machines to complete production lines. It features 3D dashboards for real-time equipment monitoring, hands-on validation areas and equipment testing for trial production and acceptance – all designed to accelerate line deployment. The center also showcases application scenarios of Delta's Line Manager platform and DIATwin digital twin technology. These solutions demonstrate cyber-physical integration across individual machines, complete production lines and entire factories. Based on modular and replicable line configurations combined with digital management, the center supports rapid global production expansion.

The center also houses the Delta & NVIDIA Cyber-Physical Integration Class, which simulates real-world manufacturing scenarios. Through structured and progressive courses and workshops, participants learn to address pain points from design to mass production. The curriculum includes digital simulation and AI model applications for new line setup, process recipe optimization and production management. Looking ahead, the center also plans to offer training courses for NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim focusing on digital twin technologies and robotic equipment simulation, guiding participants to explore the latest trends and practical applications of AI. Delta is positioned as an important partner helping accelerate digital transformation and industrial upgrades across numerous industries by developing highly replicable smart manufacturing solutions.
