Huntsman Takes Important Step Huntsman's production facilities in Rotterdam and Wilton, United Kingdom, have obtained the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC PLUS) for mass balance following audits conducted by Bureau Veritas. ISCC PLUS is a global sustainability certification system that enables monitoring of the quantity and sustainability characteristics of circular and/or bio-based content in the value chain and linking them to a mass balance approach based on verifiable accounting. Huntsman can now offer its customers methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) produced according to mass balance principles with the ISCC PLUS certification, which can help reduce the carbon footprint attributed to its customers' products.
