Siemens Achieves Record Score in Ecovadis Sustainability Rating

Siemens earned a Platinum medal in the 2025 EcoVadis Sustainability Rating by breaking its own record with 85 points. The technology giant Siemens achieved placement in the top 1 percent among 130,000 companies evaluated worldwide.

Siemens was recognized with the Platinum medal, the highest level possible, in the 2025 EcoVadis Sustainability Rating. This achievement placed Siemens in the top 1 percent among approximately 130,000 companies evaluated globally in the assessment conducted by EcoVadis, which provides commercial sustainability ratings.

The Platinum medal demonstrates Siemens' unwavering commitment to sustainability while reflecting strong performance across all assessment areas including Environment, Ethics, Labor and Human Rights, and Sustainable Procurement. In EcoVadis' assessment, Siemens was awarded 85 points, while Siemens Mobility received 84 points in a separate evaluation.

More than 90 percent of Siemens' business units contribute to helping customers achieve tangible and positive impacts in sustainability. These contributions are organized around three main areas: decarbonization and energy efficiency, resource efficiency and circularity, and human-centric approaches and social benefit. Through its products and services, Siemens supports not only its own operations but also helps business partners and customers reach their sustainability goals.

EcoVadis' business sustainability ratings are based on international sustainability standards including the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and ISO 26000.
