Starting on 2 July, the 31st Open-Air Meetings will take place. This summer will be filled with arts and culture, with ENKA as the consistent supporter of culture and the arts. The summer events will open with the theatre play "Don Kişot'um Ben" and feature performances by Fazıl Say, Mor ve Ötesi, Teoman, Sertab Erener and Karsu, among others—artists who embody the spirit of art—on the Open-Air stage. Nine concerts and 3 theatre plays will take place at the Open-Air stage this year during the 31st ENKA Culture and Arts Open-Air Meetings. Events beginning on 2 July will bring the endless energy of summer across the entire city.

Theatre Evenings

As part of events hosting the season's three most beloved plays, Baba Sahne's new and ambitious production "Don Kişot'um Ben" will open on 2 July for theatre enthusiasts. Cervantes' immortal work Don Kişot, rising above Bulgakov's period-capturing adaptation, will meet audiences through a completely new text. Performances will continue on 6 August with "From the Ashes," the season's new play written by Haldun Dormen, and on 8 August with "Is Art Consumed at Dinner?," a family comedy featuring Turkish theatre's great masters Deniz Gökçer, Burçin Oraloğlu and Zeliha Berksoy. Theatre in the open air will sometimes make you laugh, sometimes move you to sadness.

Parade of Stars

ENKA Culture and Arts Open-Air concerts will begin with Mor ve Ötesi, one of rock music's most important groups, performing on 4 July. Following the group's live performance that will bring energy to the meetings, the stage will welcome Barbar on 9 July. Featuring actors Serkan Keskin, Taner Ölmez and musician, producer and arranger Fırat İkisivri, the group—which includes music professionals added to this famous trio—will perform important folk music works on stage. Fazıl Say, one of Turkey's most important artists and a world-renowned composer and pianist, will perform on 17 July for an ENKA Open-Air concert that has become a tradition. In the recital, the artist will greet audiences with his new work "Trojan Sonata." The concert will also feature works by the artist and contemporary composers to enchant listeners. The 31st ENKA Culture and Arts Open-Air Meetings will continue on 23 July with a Redd concert featuring surprise guest artists. The performance by the group featuring Doğan Duru, Güneş Duru and Berke Özgümüş will be followed on 25 July by a concert from the Orchestra for Peace. Next, the ENKA stage will host on 30 July one of Turkey's strongest voices, Sertab Erener, alongside master pianist and composer Sabri Tuluğ Tırpan on the same stage. The stage's next guest will be Karsu, whose performances blend jazz, blues and Turkish music. Karsu, who has expanded her fan base particularly through her jazz interpretations of the songs "Gesi Bağları," "Jest Oldu" and "Domates, Biber, Patlıcan," will perform on 20 August with an unconventional performance. On 27 August, the Orchestra for Peace will bring excitement to the open-air stage once again.
