"Düşlü Geçmiş Zaman" Exhibition Opens in July at Trump Art Gallery

Aylin Örücü's personal exhibition titled 'Dreaming Past Tense' opens at Trump Art Gallery in July. The artist transfers sketches and images emerging from her imagination onto canvas through surrealist expression, employing a surrealist artistic style. Trump Art Gallery hosts Aylin Örücü's personal exhibition 'Dreaming Past Tense' from 1-31 July. In the exhibition curated by Kenan Bahadır Derre, Aylin Örücü presents works where she conveys sketches and images from her imagination through surrealist expression onto canvas, allowing viewers to feel that these are the truths closest to her emotions. The artist, who describes painting as a great passion, states: "I find peace against bombs, tranquility while a rabbit sleeps, and rest my soul with a female figure reaching the water's surface." Aylin Örücü graduated with full marks from the painting department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, where she studied at the studios of Prof. Kemal İskender and Mustafa Ata. Working on murals and mosaics at Hüsnü Koldaş's studio, the artist has participated in numerous group exhibitions alongside her personal shows. The 'Dreaming Past Tense' exhibition can be visited at Trump Art Gallery, located on the B3 Level of Trump Shopping Centre, until 31 July 2019.
