Young Talents Doğa and Defne Win Two Awards from Hungary
Turkish team receives high praise at International Ilhona Feher Violin Competition held in Hungary. Team members ÇEV Sanat Young Talents Doğa Altınok (19) and Defne Güngör (10) returned to Turkey with two awards.
ÇEV Sanat Young Talents Project continues to collect awards on the international stage with "Young Talents" Doğa Altınok and Defne Güngör receiving recognition at the 3rd International Ilhona Feher Violin Competition held in Hungary.
Doğa Altınok (19), who continues his studies at Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts under the "Young Talents Project" supported by ÇEV Sanat with QNB Finansbank as main sponsor, placed second in his age category at the "Violin Competition" held in Budapest, Hungary.
Defne Güngör (10), who continues her education at Bilkent University MSSF Music Preparatory Elementary School, came third in the junior category. Notably, the fact that most of the young people who participated in the competition as a team qualified for the finals and showcased their performances had a significant impact on the audience and jury.
Cihat Aşkın Also Served on the International Jury
Another source of pride for Turkey at the competition was Cihat Aşkın, a member of ÇEV Sanat's Arts Board, serving on the international jury. The other jury members of the competition, chaired by Shlomo Mintz, were Herbert Greenberg (USA) Lutsia Ibragimova (Russia), Cihat Aşkın (Turkey) Quian Zhou (China) Ester Perenyi (Hungary) Eva Acsne-Szily (Hungary).Advertisement
