Schneider Electric Completes 2021–2025 Sustainability Program

Global energy technology leader Schneider Electric announced the successful completion of its Schneider Sustainability Impact (SSI) 2021–2025 programme by publishing its non-financial results for 2025. Over the past five years, the group has supported its customers, business partners and communities in transitioning to a more sustainable and inclusive future through measurable progress in climate, social and governance areas.

As of the end of the fourth quarter of 2025, the SSI programme achieved an overall score of 8.86/10. This result demonstrated that Schneider Electric has translated its long-term sustainability targets into concrete outcomes at both global and local scales.

800 Million Tonne Target Exceeded
The group continued to help customers reduce their environmental footprint through its products and solutions. By the end of 2025, it enabled customers to save or prevent a total of 862 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions, exceeding the initial target of 800 million tonnes.

Under the Zero Carbon Project, work carried out with the largest 1,000 suppliers contributed to a 56% reduction in suppliers' operational CO₂ emissions.

High Compliance Rate in Supply Chain
Schneider Electric continued to promote fair and safe working conditions across its value chain. As of 2025, 98% of strategic suppliers complied with the company's Decent Work requirements. This rate indicates significant progress in respect for human rights, ethical working practices and worker welfare.

Over 61 Million People with Access to Energy
Under the Energy Access initiative launched in 2009, efforts were expanded to reach communities with limited access to clean and reliable energy. By the end of 2025, the lives of over 61 million people worldwide had been touched, significantly exceeding the initial target of 50 million beneficiaries.

Over the same period, more than one million people received training in energy management, equipping youth and professionals with the skills to contribute to the global energy transformation.

Since 2021, over 500 local sustainability initiatives have been implemented in countries where the company operates.

Schneider Electric Sustainability Director Esther Finidori stated that the SSI 2021–2025 period was not an ending but an important milestone, emphasising that the company will continue to scale impact through technology and innovation in line with its 2030 targets.

Global Recognition in ESG
Schneider Electric's sustainability performance was also confirmed by leading ESG ratings. The company achieved

- EcoVadis Platinum Medal,

- CDP Climate Change A List,

- 1st place in the World Benchmarking Alliance Social Index and 3rd place in the Gender Index

among other major accomplishments.
