Shun Kambara appointed new president of Konica Minolta Turkey
Konica Minolta, one of the world's leading technology brands, has appointed Shun Kambara as head of its Turkey office.
Kambara took over the role from Toshiyuki Yamada, who has successfully served as head since 2013.
Konica Minolta, one of the world's leading technology brands, has appointed Shun Kambara as head of its Turkey Office. Kambara formally took over the position from Toshiyuki Yamada in April 2017, whose term ended.
Shun Kambara, born in 1959, graduated from the Marketing Department of Keio University in Tokyo. Starting his career at Konica Minolta in 1982, Kambara worked in senior positions at Konica Minolta offices in various regions of the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong and Brazil.
Since 2015, Kambara has served as General Manager of Overseas Operations (Asia, South America, Middle East, Oceania) at KMI (Konica Minolta Inc).
Saying that they aim to continue Konica Minolta's steady growth in Turkey up to this point, Shun Kambara stated: "As a world brand that shapes technology, we are proud to be present in an important country like Turkey. Turkey is one of the countries where we aim to achieve sustained growth in this region. In this sense, we will continue to explore investment opportunities and develop projects that add value to the Turkish market."
Since 2012, Konica Minolta Turkey Business Technologies Inc., operating from its Istanbul office and providing direct service in the field of office and professional printing systems, has expanded its range of products and services in the Turkish market since 2016 with inkjet textile printing systems, color and light measurement devices and intelligent IP camera solutions under the Mobotix brand.
