New Safe Storage Cabinet: Asecos V-LINE

Asecos, Europe's leading manufacturer of safety storage cabinets, introduces its newest state-of-the-art cabinet: V-LINE. With vertically designed drawer technology, it provides the same storage capacity as standard cabinets while using only half the width of standard cabinets. Laboratory fume hoods and work benches are normally deeper than safety storage cabinets. The space behind safety storage cabinets has until now remained unused. It is common practice to align safety storage cabinets flush with fume hoods or work benches from the front, leaving a considerable amount of unused space at the rear. Asecos' V-LINE cabinets, designed with a depth of 86 cm, make the most efficient use of the space that conventional safety storage cabinets unnecessarily leave unused. The vertical drawers are controlled by an electric motor. V-LINE opens easily with the push of a button without requiring any physical effort, a simplified system that provides users with greater convenience and flexibility. Additionally, V-LINE allows access to and visibility of the cabinet contents from both sides. To provide maximum protection for employees, property and the environment, V-LINE has been tested according to international standards and provides 90-minute fire resistance (Type 90). It meets all requirements according to (TS) EN 14470-1. V-LINE features a standard automatic open-close system. The vertical drawers of V-LINE, opened by pressing a single button, always close securely. The drawers automatically close by themselves after approximately 60 seconds when not in use. In case of fire, if the drawers remain open, an electronic temperature sensor ensures the vertical drawers close. Even in the event of a power outage, a backup power unit with battery backup ensures the drawers close safely and automatically at any time.
