Pharmacist Barış Özyurtlu appointed as CEO of Berko İlaç

Pharm. Barış Özyurtlu, who has witnessed and led 22 years of Berko İlaç's 40-year success journey, has been appointed as CEO of Berko İlaç. A graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Barış Özyurtlu began his professional career at Berko İlaç in 2002, serving as a TST for the first 6 months and then as a regional manager for the next 6 months, after which he continued as regional director. Between 2008-2013, Özyurtlu worked as a community pharmacist while continuing to provide support to Berko İlaç as a consulting pharmacist during the same period. Barış Özyurtlu[/caption] Serving as Deputy General Manager between 2014-2016 and as General Manager from 2016 to the present, Özyurtlu has been appointed as CEO of Berko İlaç. Barış Özyurtlu served as board member of the Diyarbakır Chamber of Pharmacists for four years and as TEB (Turkish Pharmacists Association) delegate for two years. Özyurtlu is a member of the İVEK Board of Trustees and serves as Chairman of the İVEK Pharmaceutical Industry and Technologies Commission. He continues his duties as TEB delegate for the 2023-2025 term and is a member of the new executive board of DEİK (Foreign Economic Relations Council) Health Business Council.
