Cem Çamlı Named EY Türkiye’s Energy Sector Leader

Cem Çamlı, a partner at EY-Parthenon (EYP), which provides corporate finance, strategy, implementation and M&A advisory services to leading sector firms globally, has been appointed as EY Turkey's Energy Sector Leader in addition to his current role.

Cem Çamlı, who serves as a partner at the Turkey office of EY-Parthenon (EY-P) operating under the international consulting, audit, corporate finance, strategy and tax services firm EY (Ernst&Young), will assume the role of Energy Sector Leader at EY Turkey in addition to his position at EY-P. Throughout his long career, Çamlı has provided professional advisory services in strategy, implementation and M&A to leading companies across multiple sectors, particularly the energy sector, in Turkey, Europe and the Middle East. From 1 July 2025 onwards, Çamlı will continue his work focused on the energy sector in his new role at EY Turkey.

Who is Cem Çamlı?
Çamlı graduated in 2006 from Koç University's Industrial Engineering and Computer Engineering programmes. He began his career as a consultant at an international firm. During this period, working as a senior analyst and senior consultant, Çamlı designed and implemented customer-focused transformation projects for various sectors in the Istanbul, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Johannesburg offices. Between 2012-2017, he continued his career as Programme Coordinator at Turkish Telekom's CEO Office, successfully managing the company's sales, marketing and procurement integration projects. In 2017-2018, he worked as Senior Project Manager at Yıldız Holding, focusing on customer management, procurement, human resources and digital transformation.

Between 2018-2023, Cem Çamlı served as Director at a global strategy consulting firm, where he took responsibility for numerous strategy and business development projects for leading companies in various sectors, particularly energy and natural resources, operating in Turkey and Europe. He published articles and thought leadership work on topics such as energy battery and storage, green hydrogen and customer insights. Çamlı has been serving as a partner in the EY-Parthenon strategy and implementation team for approximately 2 years, providing services to global and Turkish energy clients and investors.

In addition to his role as EY-Parthenon Partner, Cem Çamlı will be responsible for coordinating sectoral work in the energy and natural resources field as EY Turkey's Energy Sector Leader.
