New Term for TOGG's Board of Directors

New board members representing partner companies have joined Togg, Turkey's global technology brand in the mobility sector, on the Board of Directors. Board member changes took place at the General Assembly Meeting on 24 September, and at the first board meeting on 3 October, Fuat Tosyalı was elected as Chairman of the Togg Board of Directors.

Turkey's Automobile Initiative Enterprise Group Industry and Trade Inc.'s 2023 Ordinary General Assembly Meeting was held on 24 September 2024 at the company's headquarters in Gebze Information Valley with the participation of all shareholders. Following the General Assembly meeting, changes occurred in the company's board memberships. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who represented TOBB on the Togg Board of Directors, transferred his position to Hakan Ülken, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, while Tuncay Özihlhan, representing the Anadolu Group, transferred his board representation position to Talip Altuğ Aksoy, Member of the Board of Directors of the Anadolu Group. Bekir Cem Köksal, CEO of Zorlu Holding who was on the Togg Board of Directors representing the Zorlu Group, transferred his position to Olgun Zorlu, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zorlu Holding. Following the General Assembly, the members of the Board of Directors of Turkey's Automobile Initiative Enterprise Group Industry and Trade Inc. are as follows: Fuat Tosyalı, Ahmet Nazif Zorlu, Kamilhan Süleyman Yazıcı, Talip Altuğ Aksoy, Ali Taha Koç, Şerif Yavuz Tosyalı, Şenol Kazancı, Olgun Zorlu, Hakan Ülken.

Fuat Tosyalı elected as Togg Board Chairman

At the first board meeting of the new Togg Board of Directors held on 3 October 2024, board positions were assigned. Fuat Tosyalı was elected as Chairman, while Ahmet Nazif Zorlu was elected as Vice Chairman.

Fuat Tosyalı, elected as Togg Board Chairman, said: "We are grateful to our esteemed partners Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Tuncay Özihlhan, who have made great contributions to Togg since its founding and worked with dedication, for the value they have added to our company and our country. Our goal with Togg is to replicate the success we have achieved in our country in global markets through our exports starting in 2025, and to become a global technology brand as we envisioned when we set out. I wish our new board of directors success in our efforts to reach this goal".

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who transferred the Togg Board Chairmanship to Fuat Tosyalı, made the following statement:

"I am transferring my position with peace of mind to our partner Fuat Tosyalı, fulfilling the promise we made to our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and our nation at TOBB's 73rd Ordinary General Assembly on 24 May 2017. I am proud that Togg has become a recognized, known and appreciated brand both in our country and around the world in what would be considered a relatively fast timeframe for such projects.
