Turkish Cosmetics Sector Shows Its Strength in Miami

The Turkish cosmetics sector presented its innovative products to US buyers at the Cosmoprof North America Miami 2026 fair. In the national participation organization coordinated by the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters' Association (İKMİB), 33 companies from Turkey showcased their brands on the international stage.
Turkish cosmetics sector presented innovative products to US buyers at Cosmoprof North America Miami 2026. Under the coordination of Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association (İKMİB), a national pavilion brought 33 Turkish companies to the international stage.
Held in Miami, USA between 27–29 January 2026, the Cosmoprof North America Miami Fair marked its second edition this year, with İKMİB organizing a national pavilion for the third time. A total of 33 Turkish companies participated in the fair, comprising 19 in the national pavilion and 14 as individual exhibitors.
Strong US Market Entry by Turkish Firms
At the fair bringing together leading global brands in cosmetics and beauty, Turkish companies showcased a broad product range including cosmetics, personal care, perfume, natural products and cleaning products. Participating companies seized the opportunity to increase brand awareness in the US market while developing new commercial partnerships.
Cosmoprof's Miami Edition Growing Rapidly
Cosmoprof events held in major centres such as Bologna, Hong Kong, Mumbai and Bangkok have long been conducted in Las Vegas in the US. With Miami's addition to the calendar as of 2024, the fair's activity across the Americas expanded, while Turkey's strong participation in the 2026 edition drew attention.
Official Visits Supporting Turkish Firms
During the fair, RC Miami Consul General Resul Şahinol, RC Miami Commercial Attaché Ömer İnce, Commercial Attaché Assistant Simru Korur Toprak, İKMİB Vice Chairman of the Board Mehmet İmer Özer, Board Member Uğur Adıyaman and TİM Delegate Süleyman Özgür Öztürk visited Turkish companies and conveyed their wishes for success. The Mediterranean Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association (AKİB) management also engaged in contacts with firms.
Adil Pelister: "US Market is Strategic for Our Sector"
İKMİB Chairman of the Board Adil Pelister assessed the importance of the US market for the Turkish cosmetics sector in the following words:
"The Turkish cosmetics sector is gaining a stronger position in the global market with each passing day through quality, innovation and high production capacity. The US market holds strategic importance for our sector. In essential oils, cosmetics and soap exports, the US ranks as the second largest export destination for us. In 2025, our cosmetics exports to the US reached USD 155.4 million with approximately 17 percent growth. In January 2026, they rose to USD 10 million with 9.89 percent growth."
Pelister noted that İKMİB aims to increase companies' visibility in the US market through national pavilion organizations, expressing their belief that the Cosmoprof North America Miami Fair will pave the way for lasting commercial partnerships that will increase the Turkish cosmetics sector's exports.
