Adil Pelister Assesses the Chemical Sector's Performance in 2019

Istanbul Association of Exporters of Chemical Substances and Products (İKMİB) Board Chairman Adil Pelister hosted a press conference in Istanbul. Pelister reviewed the chemical sector's performance in 2019 and shared his views on objectives for the coming period. Istanbul Mining and Metals Exporters Associations General Secretariat (İMMİB) General Secretary Dr. S. Armağan Vurdu and İMMİB Assistant General Secretary Coşkun Kırlıoğlu also attended the meeting. Pelister reported that the chemical sector achieved USD 20.6 billion in exports in 2019. He noted that this raised the chemical sector to the position of Turkey's second-largest exporting sector.
