Sabancı University Performing Arts Center's March Program Packed with Stage Performances
Sabancı University Performing Arts Center (SGM) will host art lovers in March with a rich program ranging from theater to jazz. "45 Saniye," "Sevgi Soysal Yaşamakta Israr Ediyor" and "Baba" will meet audiences on stage, while the month will close with performances by Triosu and KAOS at the İKSV Genç Caz Gecesi.

"45 Seconds", "Sevgi Soysal Insists on Living" and "Father" will meet audiences on stage, with the month concluding at the İKSV Young Jazz Evening with performances by Triosu and KAOS.
A Major Reckoning Within an Everyday Moment
The Sabancı Performance Center's March programme begins on the evening of 3 March with "45 Seconds", which focuses on a moment that often appears ordinary in daily life but can carry entirely different meanings for women. Beginning with the sentence "Get up," and confined to merely 45 seconds, an internal reckoning regarding societal pressure, boundaries and inner voices is brought to the stage. In the play written and directed by Aybike Turan, Turan is accompanied on stage by Duygu Serin and Melda Narin Güler. In the Bi' Tık Tiyatro production, lighting design is by Melda Narin Güler, costume design by Begüm Altındış, assistant directing by Ata Berk Bingöl and graphic design by Duygu Serin.
In a Writer's Footsteps, Within a Nation's Memory
The SGM stage will host "Sevgi Soysal Insists on Living" on 11 March, a play inspired by the life and texts of Sevgi Soysal. The play, which weaves personal stories with collective memory, unfolds in London around themes of friendship, love, illness, creation and resistance. The text is written by Duygu Dalyanoğlu, who also designs the project and performs in the cast. Director Aysel Yıldırım leads the production, with Banu Açıkdeniz, Burcu İsra Kanbakoğlu, Nihal Albayrak and Zeynep Okan in the cast. Dramaturgy is conducted collectively; stage design is by Ali Dur, choreography by Banu Açıkdeniz, visual design by Kenan Özcan, sound design and music by Beril Sarıaltun. Lighting design bears the signatures of İlker Ergün and Zîlan Kaki; costume design features Büşra Karpuz, Duygu Dalyanoğlu and Nilgün Ilgıcıoğlu.
A Mental Journey Between Reality and Fantasy
Florian Zeller's internationally acclaimed play "Father (Le Père)" meets audiences at the SGM stage on 18 March. The play explores the dissolution of memory and the increasingly blurred connection with reality through a father-daughter relationship. Drawing audiences into the character's mental world, the play offers a theatrical experience in which temporal perception is fractured. Staged with translation by Ezgi Coşkun and production by Oyun Atölyesi, "Father" is directed by Muharrem Özcan. Set design is by Kerem Çetinel, costume design by Makbule Mercan, movement design by Gizem Erdem, music by Tolga Çebi and lighting design by Emir Tatlı. The cast includes Haluk Bilginer alongside Özlem Zeynep Dinsel, Faruk Barman, Ezgi Coşkun, Mine Nur Şen and Ufuk Tevge. The ensemble includes Ceren Şık, Ezgi Metin, Arkan Mert Atakan, Berkay Tüfekçi and Armançe Toktaş.
March Concludes Rhythmically with Young Jazzers
March at SGM reaches a rhythmic finale with the İKSV Young Jazz Evening on 31 March. Triosu, continuing the piano trio tradition with contemporary interpretations, includes modern trio examples in its repertoire. The ensemble comprises İlayda Hatipoğlu on piano, Melih Can Yardı on electric bass and Mehmet Hecebil on drums.
The evening's other guest, KAOS, brings jazz together with rock and progressive music. The group comprises Ferdi Alnak on guitar, Yusuf Çebe on piano, Mert Şen on bass guitar and Arda Usul on drums.
