USD 50 Million investment
Murat Gönül, General Manager of Sapro, made the following comments on the matter: "As Sapro, we view our consecutive placement on the ISO 500 list for 8 years as a milestone, and we aim to sustain this success in the future. The company will continue to invest in innovation and focus on sustainable growth goals on a global scale. As Sapro, we achieved 34% growth volume in 2023 compared to 2022. We continue to lead in exports, generating 75% of our turnover from exports. Behind this growth lies Sapro's investment in innovative products, strong marketing and sales strategy, and sustainability-oriented approaches. As Sapro and group companies, we have invested approximately USD 50 million over the last 3 years, developing new products while maintaining quality standards and keeping our R&D work at the highest level. Recently, we were honored with the jury special award in the environmentally friendly product category at the ISO Green Transformation Awards 2024 with our Newipe® Next Generation Baby Wipe product. On this occasion, we would like to extend our thanks to all our employees and business partners." Gönül, stating that they aim to continue demonstrating strong growth performance, said: "Our goal is not only for growth to be strong but also to be sustainable. For sustainable growth, we are pursuing an investment, employment, production and export-focused growth strategy. With close to 1,000 employees, our two production facilities in Turkey and Bulgaria, and 8 sales representatives and 9 warehouses worldwide, we export the products we manufacture to 65 countries on 6 continents. During the past period, we realized all the investments we planned, including investment in an intelligently designed state-of-the-art warehouse and establishment of one of Turkey's select industrial hygienic water treatment facilities providing high-level sanitation. We plan to achieve growth in employment and exports at the same rate as capacity increase. Making the ISO 500 list once again is one of the proofs that we are pursuing the right strategy," he stated.Advertisement
