Abdi İbrahim was recognized with awards for two significant human resources projects at the 2020 Stevie Awards, held for the 15th time this year in different categories and evaluating approximately 700 submissions.
The "Health at Home" internal communications project was awarded the Gold Stevie in the "Most Innovative HR Technology Use During the Pandemic" category, while the "Regional Manager Selection Process" project won the Gold Stevie in the "Career Management Success" category.
The Stevie Awards ceremony, the most prestigious organization in the United States where companies from many countries compete and where human resources projects, achievements, teams and professionals are evaluated, will be held on 5 November 2020.
Commenting on the matter, Abdi İbrahim Human Resources General Manager Assistant Hakan Onel: "As Abdi İbrahim, we are proud to have received gold awards for two successful projects from the Stevie Awards, one of the world's most prestigious award organizations.
In addition to our achievements in the healthcare sector, we are pleased to have attained such significant success with our human resources projects. It is particularly important to us that the initiatives we launched during the pandemic period, which has affected the world and brought great uncertainty into our lives, have been recognized with this award.
Explaining the details of the award-winning projects, Hakan Onel stated: In our "Regional Manager Selection Process" project, we have structured hundreds of internal applications over the past 5 years and evaluate them using scientific methods, offering our existing internal resources an objective and fair evaluation opportunity with the motto "Everyone is a talent at Abdi İbrahim."
We achieved this success through the regional manager selection process we conducted as part of career development for talents from our internal teams this year as well.
In our "Health at Home" project, which we launched at the beginning of the pandemic by adapting to the process very quickly, we hosted colleagues from our company or expert guests participating on a purely voluntary basis in 45-minute broadcasts on topics such as healthy living, psychology, family communication, hobbies, skills and personal development. From 30 March when we started the project with the participation of Abdi İbrahim employees to now, we have exceeded 20,000 total participants in 108 live broadcasts and surpassed 80,000 total interactions. With this program, we aimed to maintain close communication with our employees during the pandemic period, support their socialization and continued personal development, and contribute to their psychological and mental well-being. We supported them in gaining knowledge on diverse topics, acquiring new hobbies and, in short, getting through this difficult period more productively and healthily.Advertisement
