Despite being perceived as routine work, they constitute an integral part of modern chemistry laboratories and process monitoring systems due to their vital role in production and raw material parameters, as well as their importance as the foundation for more advanced analytical techniques.   As part of this modular content series, organized traditionally each year and structured as a brand new webinar series this year, the aim is to present detailed and comprehensive information on numerous topics ranging from the theoretical foundations of pH, ion-selective and conductivity-based direct measurements to electrode selection, sample matrices, required reagents, calibration, sample measurement, potential error sources beyond equipment, proper electrode maintenance and storage.
