First Seminar of "Reaksiyon Akademi Thursday Meetings" to Be Held on 25 March
Reaksiyon Academy is a training platform established in 2018 to provide both technical and personal development opportunities for company staff, while enabling customers and suppliers to share experiences and expertise in their respective fields.
Under the Reaksiyon Academy umbrella, numerous training seminars and webinars have been organized, and industry meetings bringing together paints and coatings sector manufacturers have been held to facilitate knowledge sharing. Under the slogan #ReactForGood, the company has established libraries in Anatolia as part of charitable initiatives involving company employees.
During the pandemic, online training programs transitioned to hybrid format beginning in March 2021.
The first session in the "Reaksiyon Academy Thursday Meetings" series on 25 March will focus on 2021 targets and team spirit under Executive Coach leadership. At 14:00, a seminar by BASF Chemical Sales Director Tanju Cepheli will address "Business Life and Trends in Our Changing World."
Who is Tanju Cepheli?
Tanju Cepheli is responsible for the Pharmaceutical Solutions Department at BASF Türk Kimya covering emerging markets, with scope encompassing Turkey, Middle East, Russia and Africa regions, serving as Sales Director for 80 countries.
She also holds a position in the Global Management team within the Global Pharmaceutical Solutions Department.
Cepheli completed her business administration and economics education at Fachhochschule für Betriebswirtschaft in Germany. She has worked at BASF for 30 years, starting as a Product Manager and subsequently holding management positions in the sales divisions of cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food additives, flavors and pharmaceutical departments, including global roles.
Cepheli has received best supplier awards from Eczacıbaşı Ilac and Bayer AG, and played an active role in the merger of Cognis pharmaceutical and food departments.
A Board Member of ISPE Health Sciences Association, Cepheli holds important positions in various industry associations including TÜFTAD (Turkish Pharmaceutical Technology Researchers Association), TÜSIAD Health Group, and GTBD (Food Supplement and Nutrition Association) Board of Directors Vice President.
Beyond these roles, Cepheli is a strong advocate of personal development and holds professional and team coach certifications. She lectures in Sales and Leadership at Pharmaceutical and Pharmacy Faculties and Istanbul Business School. She actively participates in the international EWMD Women in Management Association, as well as PWN and other women manager associations.

Tanju Cepheli, is working as Head of Sales in Pharma Solutions Business Unit in BASF Türk; Istanbul. She is also having responsibilities and is a part of the Global Management Team in Pharma Solutions. She is responsible for sales in Emerging Europe, which stands for following Regions Turkey, Middle East, Russia & Africa. Studied Business Administration and Economy in Fachhochschule für Betriebswirtschaft in Germany, since 30 years in BASF, started as Product Manager and worked in different Business Units Cosmetic, Helath & Nutrition, Feed and Pharma. She made her carrier in Sales as Area Sales Manager, Global Key Account Manager for Bayer and Merck in Pharma, had Global roles within Headquaerter She believes in personal developments and made also her Professional Coach and Team Coach Certificates from Erickson Coaching School. Got the best supplier awards from Eczacibasi Ilac and Bayer AG. Played a role in the integration of Cognis Pharma Departments.
