Barnet and Carbon Fiber Conversions (CFC) announced the launch of a strategic partnership. The collaboration aims to expand the global market for recycled carbon fibers in the plastics sector.

Carbon Fiber Conversions brings comprehensive expertise in the preparation and processing of carbon fibers to this partnership. Founded more than a decade ago, the company has established itself as a reliable and innovative player in the recycling and processing of carbon fibers. Barnet, which has over 125 years of experience in the global fiber market, will complement this expertise by leveraging its international network and strong global market presence to introduce CarboFlow.

CarboFlow is a 100% recycled carbon fiber that offers controlled properties, proven consistency and performance for reinforcing thermoplastic compounds. Since its introduction, more than 5,000 tonnes of CarboFlow have been delivered to series production applications, demonstrating the material's reliability and strong industrial demand.

With CarboFlow, Barnet is expanding its portfolio alongside high-performance carbon fiber products with a practical and sustainable solution. CFC has proven itself as a reliable partner in the processing of carbon fibers suitable for gravimetric feeding in high-performance plastics.
