Sapro Continues Growth in Wet Wipes Exports

Sapro, which exports its products to more than 65 countries and ranks first in wet wipes exports across 6 continents, has continued its ascent among Turkey's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises. One of Turkey's 300 companies making the highest R&D investments, Sapro moved its position on the 2019 list of the 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises to 410th place through its innovative products and leading role in R&D and exports. Sapro, which exports wet wipes to more than 65 countries, has moved its position on the 2019 Turkey's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises Research announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry to 410th place. On the same list, Sapro ranked 457th in 2017 and 432nd in 2018, and by maintaining its steady success in 2019, reinforced its place among the country's leading industrial enterprises.

Net sales of TRY 603 million with 26% growth

Rising value of ISO 500, Sapro demonstrated its market differentiation by increasing 2019 net sales by 26% compared to the previous year. Sapro, which is also a member of PLAT Private Label Product Manufacturers and Suppliers Association and contributes to sectoral development through its investments, achieved net sales of TRY 603 million in 2019 with its strong export infrastructure and R&D capability.

Strength from continuous investment and R&D

Making a statement on Sapro's success in ISO 500, Sapro Founding Partner Ceyhun Zincirkıran said that the most important factor behind their years of steady growth has been their continuous investment in R&D and innovation. Noting that they continue to support the development of our country's economy along with the private label products sector, Zincirkıran stated: "In 2019, while continuing our R&D work on new products on one hand, we laid the foundation for a brand new facility in Bulgaria to take our existing exports even further. In this way, we increased our strength in both domestic and foreign markets."
