Previously, Kimpur procured post-consumer PET waste in shredded form to produce PET-based polyester polyol. With this new investment, the company aims to achieve higher process control in PET recovery operations.
Enhanced Management in PET Processing
Under the new system, PET waste sourced from suppliers will be shredded and processed at Kimpur facilities. This allows the company to manage the raw material processing within its own operations, while supporting quality consistency in production and improving operational efficiency.
