Eco Sustainable Solution: By-products from Blueberry Juice production are used with consequent waste reduction. Production: Akott has developed a new extraction technique to extract polyphenols and anthocyanins from the waste of skins and seeds of blueberry (Vaccinium Corymbosum Misty).
By-product Press Cake from fresh fruit pressing used for the production of juice has been used for the extraction.
Efficacy:
Blue Light Protection: in vitro testing on human keratinocytes show reduction of blue light induced protein oxidation; ex vivo testing in human skin explants demonstrates inhibition of blue light induced skin differentiation, oxidation and melanogenesis.

The History
Cilento is a wonderful region in southern Italy in the Campania coast on Tyrrhenian Sea (Italian: Costiera Cilentana) between the Gulf of Salerno and the Gulf of Policastro.

The Cities of Magna Graecia in the Cilento
