Highly Acclaimed Contemporary Americana Star Behind the Tunes of HBO Drama “True Detective,” Lera Lynn Will Be at Zorlu PSM as a Part of Garanti Jazz Green Concerts on November 22
A singer, songwriter, actress, producer and an active player of the American music scene since her independent debut album “Have You Met Lera Lynn?” released in 2011, Lynn has been an outstanding vocal of Americana and indie-folk ever since.
Gaining some critical acclaim since her debut, she released her second album “The Avenues” after 3 years. The Avenues had a career shifting role in Lynn’s discography, catching the attention of T-Bone Burnett who was at the time producing HBO’s favorite criminal drama “True Detective”s soundtrack.
Lera’s big break came with True Detective soundtrack, which eventually turned into an appearance in the series. Her third album Resistor was released in 2016, adopting a more apparent rock influence than its predecessors.
Her latest album was released early this year, “Plays Well With Others.” Lynn is now touring worldwide, embracing the crowds with her mellow vocal and perfect Americana.
